2026 Mini Olympics hosted by the Middle Fork Ranger District!

Do you have an active PreK, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grader? Then sign them up early for Mini Olympics! This track and field event is part of the Oakridge Tree Planting Festival, which is just around the corner. If you have never been to Mini Olympics, it is a great opportunity for your child to burn off some energy and earn a ribbon running track, throwing a softball, and doing long jumps. Unfortunately, however, registration can take an hour – and often involves standing in a long line in the hot sun or pouring rain. Those who sign up early can avoid all this! By registering now, their name tag will already be prepared, and you will be able to pick it up before the games at a separate table without a long wait.  

 

Not sure if your kid will want to participate? Well, sign them up anyway – the event is FREE, so there is no penalty if your family decides not to participate. Registration forms are located at the Oakridge Elementary School, the Oakridge and Westfir City Halls, and the Middle Fork Ranger Station. You can also sign up below! You can turn in completed forms to the Oakridge Elementary School, the Middle Fork Ranger Station, or take a photo of the signed form and send it to erin.abernethy@usda.gov.
